Academies United was created by Ryan Henry, a Canadian entrepreneur and lifelong fútbol player, with a simple goal, to give young players access to experiences that genuinely shape their development.
Ryan’s journey has taken his family through youth fútbol in Canada, the street driven intensity of Costa Rica, and into the elite academy environments of Spain. Coaching and working across multiple levels gave him a clear view of where players grow, where they plateau, and what’s missing between ambition and opportunity.
Now based in Spain and connected with local clubs and academies, Ryan and the team behind Academies United open those same environments to other players. The focus isn’t exposure for its own sake, but real challenge, honest comparison, and access to football environments that push players to grow.
